Australians are increasingly using sustainable energy sources to address rising gas and electricity prices.
The survey found that while electricity and gas prices have gone up by an estimated average of 35 per cent across the country in the past three years, Australians have responded by becoming increasingly more ‘carbon-efficient’.
The Newspoll, commissioned by solar water heater manufacturer Solahart, petitioned 676 home-owners on the energy issue.
